Work Gloves for Construction, Forestry & Industrial Applications

CSP Forestry carries a wide selection of work gloves to protect hands in construction, logging, land clearing, oil and gas, and general industrial environments. Our glove inventory includes leather work gloves for grip and durability, cut-resistant gloves rated under ANSI/ISEA 105, impact-resistant gloves with TPR knuckle protection, mechanic gloves for equipment operation, and nitrile-coated gloves for chemical-resistant light-duty tasks. We stock sizes from S to XXL in brands including Wells Lamont, Mechanix, Superior Glove, and Portwest.

Selecting the right glove for your task reduces hand injury risk without sacrificing dexterity. For chainsaw-specific hand protection, our chainsaw protective gloves feature cut-resistant panels rated for saw contact. For welding, our welding gloves provide heat and flame protection. Workers exposed to thorns, sharp debris, and abrasion should look at our safety gloves collection. Complete your PPE kit with hard hats, safety glasses, and work boots.

Work Gloves FAQs

What cut resistance level do I need for forestry work?

For general brush clearing and log handling, ANSI Cut Level A4–A6 provides good abrasion and sharp-edge protection. For chainsaw operation, always use dedicated chainsaw protective gloves with chainsaw-specific cut resistance ratings, as standard cut-resistant gloves are not rated to stop chainsaw chain contact.

Are leather gloves better than synthetic work gloves?

Leather gloves offer excellent durability, abrasion resistance, and grip for heavy-duty tasks like rigging, log handling, and rough construction. Synthetic gloves often provide better dexterity, moisture wicking, and cut resistance for more refined work. Many professionals keep both on hand for different task types. Browse our full work gloves collection for both options.

Do you carry impact-resistant gloves?

Yes. CSP Forestry stocks impact-resistant gloves with TPR (thermoplastic rubber) knuckle and finger protection for workers using hand tools, operating equipment, or working in environments with pinch-point and crush hazards. Find these and more in our gloves and safety gloves collections.

How do I choose the right size work gloves?

Measure your hand circumference around the widest part of your palm (excluding the thumb), then match to the manufacturer's size chart. A glove that is too large reduces grip and dexterity; too small restricts circulation and movement. All product pages in our work gloves collection include sizing guides.
