Professional Coveralls for Construction, Forestry & Hazardous Work
CSP Forestry stocks a comprehensive selection of coveralls for workers in construction, forestry, painting, chemical handling, oil and gas, and industrial environments. Our coverall inventory includes disposable Tyvek coveralls for chemical and dust protection, reusable cotton and polyester blend coveralls for everyday work wear, flame-resistant (FR) coveralls for arc flash and flash fire hazards, insulated coveralls for cold weather operation, and high-visibility coveralls meeting ANSI/ISEA 107 for traffic environments. Sizes range from S to 5XL in regular and tall configurations.
Coveralls provide full-body protection and are an essential part of many job-specific PPE programs. FR coveralls are required for oil and gas, electrical, and refinery workers under NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112. Disposable coveralls protect clothing and skin from chemical, paint, and dust exposure. For workers in forestry and logging, pair coveralls with chainsaw chaps for cut protection and a chainsaw helmet for complete PPE. Coveralls FAQs
What are Tyvek coveralls used for?
Tyvek disposable coveralls provide protection against non-hazardous dry particulates, light liquid splashes, dust, and biological agents. They are commonly used for painting, asbestos work (with appropriate respirator), pesticide application, demolition, and contaminated site remediation. They are not rated for heavy chemical splash or immersion. Browse our coveralls collection for disposable and chemical-resistant options.
Do I need FR coveralls for electrical work?
Yes. NFPA 70E requires arc-rated FR garments for workers performing energized electrical work within the arc flash boundary. FR coveralls must meet the minimum arc rating for the PPE category determined by your arc flash hazard analysis. See our flame resistant clothing collection for arc-rated coverall options.
Can I wear coveralls over my regular work clothes?
Yes. Coveralls are designed to be worn over base layers and work clothing to protect them from contamination, damage, or environmental exposure. For FR protection, ensure that the base layers worn under FR coveralls are also FR or at minimum non-melting fabrics—synthetic base layers under FR coveralls can still cause severe burns if the inner layer ignites.
What coveralls do you recommend for cold-weather forestry work?
Insulated bib overalls and insulated coveralls with Thinsulate or quilted lining are ideal for cold-weather logging and forestry operations. Pair with moisture-wicking base layers, a chainsaw helmet, and chainsaw chaps for complete cold-weather chainsaw PPE. Browse our coveralls and work clothes for cold-weather options.
