Being new to chainsaws, I felt it wise to purchase these chaps for an extra layer of safety. They seem well constructed. I am about 5'9" so the 32" chaps were a nice fit. I wore these chaps yesterday for an hour or two as I was doing some cleanup with my new saw at our new, under-construction residence and would recommend both the chaps and the Echo CS400.

Just an avid homeowner who wants to be safe, ordered these chaps on a Friday afternoon and received them in just a few days--excellent service, with several email updates. The chaps fit well, followed the measuring advice from top of belt to boot height. Always satisfied with Made in USA products, and at a very competitive price. Nice work CSP, will recommend your company to everyone.

Well constructed product, USA made, hope we never have to test their ability! CSP has super fast shipping, great experience.

Look, if you're going to use a chain saw you need the chaps! My husband has operated a chain saw for 50 years. He's never had a single accident until recently. Took a visit to the ER and 18 staples in his knee to fix him up. He is 5' 11" and the 40" length fit him perfectly. The chaps appear to be well made. I guess it's ok that I review these chaps since I was the one that ordered them for him. I didn't know about these or I would have purchased them sooner. He does like the chaps.

I've not even tried on the chaps, however I must report that the service simply couldn't be better!
Last week I received a set of the chaps...I'd ordered XL, the packaging slip said XL, and the sheet inside the plastic bag said XL. I tried them on and they came up to my rib cage! Then I looked at the tag on the chaps themselves and it said 3XL. I called CPS and told them what happened. Mike apologized, gave me their shipping number and asked me to send them back. Well, I sent them back on Friday and the replacement pair arrived TODAY! And yes, they are XL!
They have a customer for life.

Very well made of quality materials and a good value to boot, and I liked that they also come in green.

First off, customer service at CSPF was exceptional. Very fast order entry and product was shipped the same day with great email communication and tracking following shipment. Best price I could find on the web for this product.
I'm not a pro logger, just a guy with some woodland acreage. Been using a chain saw for 35 years and never used any PPE before except for maybe gloves and safety glasses. I guess at 68 yoa I think my good luck may have about run out if I continue to do the same, so I bought the chaps. Other PPE to follow soon. Maybe I got smarter with age! I measured fit according to Lebonville's instructions and found the 40" length to be perfect for me. The chaps are of very high quality construction and USA made. They are comfortable and work well in the field for me. not cumbersome at all. I haven't had to test their chain stopping ability yet (thank god), otherwise I would give 5 stars, but if you look at other reviews of these chaps, these are the chaps that most pros recommend. High kudos for CSPF and Lebonville.
